I was speaking with Felicity the other day and the issue of on-line nudist pictures and nude selfies came up.

To be more specific, we talked about the unusual (at least in our heads) profile pictures that some folks post on naturist sites. It is great that nudismis slowly going online but in our view, quality trumps quantity.

Thus far as we could tell, there are a bunch of sites out there now that are being promoted as honest to goodness nudist sites. But are they really?

Taking a fast look at some of the websites that came up, we came to the decision that a truenudist or naturistwould immediately be put off. That is mostly because of the pictures they see. For instance, naked selfies such as the timeless nudist "reclining man naked" or the apparent professional bare stock image of a porn star'ish girl would immediately dissuade us from spending any time on the site.

So this got us questioning - Why the huge discrepancy between nudist sites and textile ones? Why would a naturist dating site have so many penis-focused pictures (that's stuffed with sexual undertones) while mainstream cloth website will have more real / old-fashioned images?

Are naturists who are looking to attract attention to their profile are reverting to Alpha Male Ape like behavior? Is it the - "Look At Me I Am Man" Syndrome? Do they actually believe that by showcasing their penis, girls will flock to their profiles like moths to your flame?

I would really like to pose these questions with the hopes of better understanding the mindset.
